The statement reads: "The enemy used weapons only once between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. today. The militants fired at our strong point near Avdiivka from the direction of Yasynuvata from small arms at about 5 p.m.
"It should be added that the armistice boosted the work of the Ukrainian detachments of the civil-military cooperation. For example, our officers in conjunction with the Volunteers' Hundred Fund have delivered stationery, school uniforms, and backpacks for school children of Marinka and Krasnohorivka before the beginning of the new academic year. In addition, the ATO forces' officers conducted shelling emergency evacuation drills and first aid lessons with students."
"The officers of civil-military cooperation are also involved in evacuation of internally displaced persons from Marinka. Taking advantage of the truce and actual cease-fire near Donetsk, people are trying to withdraw their personal belongings from the homes, which have recently been under around-the-clock militants' fire," the press center summed up.
