Kostyna joined the National Guard in April this year. He remained in coma in an emergency ward until death. Slastnikov was a native of the Dnipropetrovsk region. He died from received shrapnel wounds. Both soldiers have been posthumously awarded Medals for Courage of the 3rd level.
The first farewell was delivered by the Ukrainian Parliament's Speaker Volodymyr Hroisman.
The National Guard previously opened a special account to aid the soldiers injured in clashes on Monday.
