High levels of sulfur dioxide in the air reported in Kyiv exceed the norm by five to eight times in different districts.

Censor.NET reports citing latest update by Kyiv's sanitary and epidemiological agency.

The level of sulfur dioxide in the air samples in different districts of Kyiv exceeds the norm as follows (as of 8 a.m. Sept. 3):

2/3 Mykhailivska Str. - 5 times;

11 Bankova Str. - 5.4 times;

10a Heroiv Stalinhradu Ave. - 6.2 times;

16 Obolon Ave. - 5.4 times;

29 Heroiv Dnipra Str. - 8.4 times;

25a Raiduzhna Str. - 7.6 times;

3 Myru Ave. - 6.6 times;

24 Voziednannia Ave. - 7.4 times;

1 Marshala Hrechka Str. - 5.4 times.

The level of carbon monoxide exceeds the norm by 1.1 times only in one location in Kyiv adjacent to Myru Avenue.

The nitrogen dioxide level is within norms throughout the city.
