President Petro Poroshenko seeks to strengthen Ukrainian-Chinese relations.

This is stated in his congratulation addressed to President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of victory in World War II, Censor.NET reports.

According to Poroshenko, for China this victory is a demonstration of love for the Motherland and desire to live peacefully in a free state. Poroshenko added there were many Ukrainians contributing to the victory, including pilot Hryhorii Kulishenko, who died defending the skies over China.
