 Cease-fire in effect for fifth day in a row for the first time, while mercenaries withdraw heavy equipment from front line, - M sector press officer

The cease-fire has been in place for the fifth day in a row at Mariupol direction.

This was announced by M sector press officer Yaroslav Chepurnyi on air of TV channel 112 Ukraine, Censor.NET reports.

"At Mariupol direction, we can state the cease-fire has been in effect for five days now. This has never happened before in the sector, I think," he said.

Chepurnyi added that according to intelligence data, mercenaries are withdrawing heavy weapons and personnel from the front line.

"In some places they are even posting border guards, and in some areas are replacing local Donbas terrorists with Russian mercenaries, who are better controlled and better disciplined," he added.
