16 persons suspected in disorders near Rada to remain in custody without right of pledge, court rules

As of 00:30 a.m. Sept. 3, the court ruled that 16 out of 18 persons detained for illegal activities near the Verkhovna Rada building on Aug. 31 shall remain in custody without the right of pledge.

As reported by Censor.NET, this was announced by Interior Minister Adviser Zorian Shkiriak on his Facebook page.

"One of them has been put under a 24-hour house arrest. Another suspect is currently in a hospital due to health problems. The decision on him will be made as soon as he is able to present at a court hearing. All required investigation on finding out the circumstances of the crime shall continue in the future," Shkiriak said.
