Shkiriak wrote: "The court had already placed five participants of anti-state provocation, riots and armed attacks on law enforcement officers, which took place outside the Verkhovna Rada building Aug. 31, in custody for two months without the right to post a bail.
"This decision was probably taken by the court in connection with the charges brought against them and the severity of the penalties envisaged by articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine including the Article 258 - "terrorist attack". Three National Guarders were killed and more than 130 police officers were injured as a result of this bloody attack. One of our soldiers is still in grave condition in a coma. The doctors are fighting for his life around the clock."
