 Interior Ministry intends to summon leader of Svoboda party for questioning in the case of turmoil near Parliament

Interior Ministry Main Directorate in Kyiv intends to question former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, leader of the "All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" party Oleh Tiahnybok in the investigation into the riots that took place near the building of the Verkhovna Rada Aug, 31.

Interior Ministry Main Directorate in Kyiv Press Service Head Oksana Blishchyk stated on air of 112 Ukraine TV channel, Censor.NET reports.

"The police intend to interrogate persons involved in organizing of protests, including Tiahnybok," she said.

In addition, Blishchyk noted that it was the priority for the police to establish the organizers of the protest action on Aug. 31.

It should be reminded that according to the Kyiv police, there were 141 persons injured in riots outside the Verkhovna Rada Aug. 31 in the hospitals and clinics of Kyiv as of Tuesday morning (Sept. 1). One serviceman of the National Guard died from wound to the heart.

Leader of the "All-Ukrainian Union "Svoboda" party Oleh Tiahnybok was also filmed during the clash near Rada inviting aggression of the National Guard servicemen using explicit language and grabbing their shields.
