 Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine to hold telephone talks on situation in Donbas, - Merkel

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said Monday that leaders of the Normandy Four (Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine) agreed on a new telephone talks on the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a press conference in Berlin, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

Merkel said that the leaders have agreed to hold a telephone conversation as the next step of negotiations without specifying when such negotiations may take place exactly.

At the same time Merkel did not rule out holding of further consultations at the level of foreign ministers of the four countries as well as a possible meeting of Normandy Four heads to discuss the situation in the east of Ukraine.
