This was announced by Interior Minister's adviser Zorian Shkyriak on his Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.
Commemorating events started today at around 11 a.m. with an opening of the memorial "People's Wall of Memory."
According to Sehodnia newspaper, about 500 people came to Mykhailivska Square in Kyiv to commemorate those killed in the Ilovaisk tragedy.
They are mostly the National Guard soldiers, Donbas battalion fighters, as well as the families and relatives of the fallen. During the meeting, people are sharing memories and communicating. The representatives of volunteer battalions appealed to the leadership of the country to conduct a fair investigation into the events and punish those responsible.
A wall with portraits of fallen Heroes was established on the square in memory of those terrible events. A photo exhibition is also there. Later on today, a documentary dedicated to the terrible events will be shown at the National WWII Museum.
