According to the report, the tensest situation remained in the vicinity of Mariupol: "The enemy used 122-mm artillery to shell our positions in Novohryhorivka and twice in Starohnativka around 9 p.m. Besides, the Ukrainian troops' strongpoint in Starohnativka was impacted by the invaders' 120-mm mortars."
"The militants were using 82-mm and 120-mm caliber mortars and small arms to attack Opytne village not far from Donetsk almost from 10 p.m. to midnight. The invaders committed strike on our positions in the same village from grads at 10:40 p.m., once again making no secret of the missile artillery presence near the demarcation line. Besides, the enemy impacted residential neighborhoods of Avdiivka, where there were no ATO forces at all, with 122-mm artillery from the direction of the Donetsk airport at about 9:30 p.m. and almost at midnight.
"The Ukrainian Army detachments deployed near the villages of Staryi Aidar, Triokhizbenka, and Stanytsia Luhanska in the Luhansk region came under mortar strikes committed by the criminals at the end of the day," the report reads
"The illegal armed groups violated the cease-fire 109 times totally over the past day, Aug. 27. The invaders used artillery 15 times, mortars - 34 times, and BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launcher once," the HQ added.
