 Head of Odesa police directorate detained red-handed taking $20,000 bribe, - Chief Military Prosecutor

Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios announced detention of one of heads of Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Odesa for taking bribe.

Matios wrote on Facebook, Censor.NET reports.

He wrote: "The investigators from the military prosecutor's office in conjunction with the officers of the Security Service special detachment K in the Odesa region have detained red-handed the head of Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Odesa when he was receiving $20,000 bribe for the illicit assistance in resolving a corporate conflict and establishing control over the property. I am currently on the scene - urgent investigative actions are underway. We are working following the principle of zero tolerance to corruption."
