 Poroshenko: Anti-Corruption Bureau detectives to be recruited in fortnight

Recruitment of detectives to the Anti-Corruption Bureau will finish in two weeks.

This was stated by President Petro Poroshenko, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"I believe that a country in wait for reforms appreciates reformed police, as well as modernized, strengthened, and re-born Ukrainian army. I am convinced that by way of reforms the Anti-Corruption Bureau will be formed, which will see its detectives recruited in fortnight," he said at a press conference in Odesa on Tuesday.

Poroshenko also promised that in the near future a modernized Prosecutor's Office will be set up on the basis of the bureau, its prosecutors' enrollment to start at local prosecutor's offices.
