 Russia should follow common sense, Merkel says

At the joint press conference with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and French President Francois Hollande, German Chancellor Angela Merkel stressed that Russia shall finally follow a democratic path of development.

Merkel said they were monitoring the military situation together with the OSCE, which reported that separatists did not comply with the agreements, drones were flying, and military equipment had not been withdrawn from the demarcation line.

German Chancellor noted that Russia should participate in Ukraine talks and finally follow a democratic path and common sense. Without this, Merkel stressed, there will be no success in the talks.
