"From 6 p.m. until midnight, in the Donetsk and Artemivsk directions, the enemy has intensified using weapons over 100-mm. Militants used 120-mm mortars several times from 6 p.m. to shell our positions near Avdiivka, Troitske, Verkhniotoretske and Opytne. At around 9:00 and 10:00 p.m., invaders hit Ukrainian forces strong points in Krasnohorivka from 152-mm artillery, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms. At 9:20 p.m., the same artillery fire covered Ukrainian troops positions in Avdiivka and at 11:00 p.m. - in the village of Slavne. At 10:30 p.m., mercenaries, cynically violating the Minsk agreements, fired 122-mm artillery on civilian areas in Avdiivka," the report reads.
According to HQ, at 7:05 p.m., from Olkhovatka direction, militants used Grad rocket systems to cover the Ukrainian forces strong hold in Troitske in the Artemivsk direction, and from 9:00 p.m. to midnight, Sanzharivka, Luhansk, Lozove and Troitske got under 122-mm artillery fire of the enemy. Mercenaries also fired 120-mm mortars at the ATO forces positions near Novozvantsove, Zaitseve, Zolote.
In the Luhansk region, around midnight, illegal armed units fired 152-mm artillery on the ATO forces positions in the village of Bolotne. At 9:00 p.m., militants used 120-mm mortars to hit Bohdanivka in the area of Mariupol.
"In general, over the past day, illegal armed units violated cease-fire 82 times. The enemy used artillery 18 times, mortars - 40 times, Grad - once," press center stated.
