The statement reads: "The enemy assaulted Opytne, Marinka, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, and Pisky villages with small arms, mortars, and grenade launchers several times over the day. The militants were firing at one of the strongholds of the ATO forces in Marinka from tanks, mortars, grenade launchers and small arms from 5:20 a.m. to 8 a.m."
"The illegal armed groups intensified their activity near Mariupol again. The invaders committed two strikes from 152-mm artillery on Prokhorivka village around midnight and the enemy artillery was already impacting our positions in Starohnativka, Lebedynske, and Bohdanivka at about 4 a.m. The village of Vynohradne also came under fire from 122-mm artillery in the morning. The criminals again attacked our positions in Starohnativka at around 8 a.m. using 152-mm artillery and 122-mm guns at about 9 a.m. and 10 a.m.," the press center stated.
The ATO HQ stressed: "The enemy subversive and reconnaissance group was spotted trying to bypass our strong point at the Artemivsk direction at 11.35 a.m. The enemy retreated as a result of the engagement.
"It was relatively calm at the Luhansk direction today. The single attack was recorded at 3:15 p.m., when the militants shelled the ATO troops in Novotoshkivske village from grenade launcher.
"The illegal armed groups have violated the cease-fire 58 times totally from midnight to 6 p.m.
