Three most demanded public services in Ukraine go electronic

Three services have been launched on public service portal: receiving subsidies, obtaining (changing) travel passport, receiving income statement form tax service.

As reported by Censor.NET, this is announced by the PrivatBank IT director Dmytro Dubilet on his Facebook page.

"An incredible day! Today, three most demanded public services in Ukraine were added to iGov.org.ua (public service web portal - ed.):

1. Receiving subsidies.
2. Obtaining or changing travel passport.
3. Receiving income statement form tax service.

"We have been working over each of the services for several months, and how it all happened in one day, I do not understand," he said.

According to him, it is a pilot mode run only in the Dnipropetrovsk region, but then they are to be available across the country.

He also provides more detailed information on each service.

1. Receiving subsidies.
Now, to submit application, you do not need to go anywhere (you also do not need to obtain an income statement from tax service). All you need is to enter the system through your BankID and fill in a form. Within 20 days (but usually faster) you get a letter with a copy of the document on subsidy approval (or reasons for a refusal, should it follow).

2. Obtaining and changing travel passport.
Here you can fill in a short form and register for a specific time (and not to join the line in the morning and wait for a few hours). You can also pay for the issue on spot (in cash or by a bank card).

"By the way, soon this service will be further developed: it will be possible to make payments via the Internet, choose a specific time of the visit, not only to apply, but also to take a passport, fill in the basic form (visit is a must, unfortunately, due to photo and fingerprinting requirements)," Dubilet adds.

3. Receiving income statement from tax service.
To obtain such a statement it is enough to fill in a short form, specifying the place, where it will be convenient to pick up the statement, as well as its validity period.

"By the way, there is no need to apply for this statement to obtain a subsidy, as it was previously! We have plans to make it possible to not only apply for the statement in remote mode, but also to receive it in the same way (by mail or e-mail protected with an electronic digital signature)," he concluded.
