30 combat vehicles passed to Donbas from Russia over two days, Rada first vice-speaker says

About 30 units of military hardware arrived from Russia to Ukraine through the uncontrolled section of the border near the Izvaryne border crossing point.

Verkhovna Rada First Vice-Speaker Andrii Parubii said in an interview to Channel 5 Wednesday evening, Aug. 19, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.

"About 30 units of military equipment moved from Russia through Izvaryne to the occupied territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions over the past two days," he said.

According to Parubii, shock troops, which are preparing for a possible breakthrough, are concentrated near Stakhanov and Donetsk and receive equipment reinforcements. "But it is difficult to predict how high the possibility of the onslaught is. But we must prepare for it, that's for sure. The Independence Day is positively their date-irritant. Would they dare, would they have enough strength to attack is the matter of time, and of our readiness to repel the offensive," the first vice-speaker said.
