Nearly 1,500 criminal proceedings launched in Ukraine for dodging mobilization.

Armed Forces of Ukraine Mobilization Department Deputy Head Oleksandr Pravdyvets said at a briefing, Censor.NET reports citing 112 Ukraine.

5,811 administrative proceedings have been opened over such cases as of today and citizens were brought to administrative responsibility as a result. Nearly 1,500 criminal proceedings were initiated over dodging mobilization under Article 336 of the Criminal Code.

"The court has brought citizens to justice having sentenced them to prison in about 400 cases," Pravdyvets said.

According to him, 26,800 people totally attempted to dodge conscription. They did not open the doors of apartments and houses to the representatives of the draft boards after being notified, moved to other cities, villages, and abroad, resigned, and so on. Only 45-50 per cent of those who received military subpoena have come to military registration and enlistment offices.

The average of persons unfit to combat during the second wave of mobilization was 61 percent.

It should be reminded that the sixth wave of mobilization in Ukraine ended yesterday.
