Vladimir Putin's visit to the occupied Crimea without its agreeing with Ukrainian authorities is a challenge to civilized world and further attempt at fueling the situation in the Donbas.

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko commented a visit of the Russian president Putin to the occupied Crimea, Censor.NET reports referring to the head of state official Facebook page.

"Putin's visit to Ukrainian Crimea without its agreeing with Ukrainian authorities is a challenge to civilized world and another move in a scenario implemented by Russian military and mercenaries in the Donbas," Poroshenko said.

He also added that "such trips flag further militarization of the occupied Ukrainian peninsula and lead to its further isolation."

"Only as a part of Ukraine Crimea has a future, including the tourist one," Poroshenko summed up.

As reported, today, Aug. 17, the Russian president Vladimir Putin paid an official visit to the occupied Crimea for a meeting of the Presidium of the State Council of the Russian Federation on tourism development.
