 Chief of Staff Muzhenko has not replied to key questions on Ilovaisk tragedy, - Ukrainian Army Officer

Chief of Staff of the Ukrainian Army Viktor Muzhenko is trying to avoid responsibility for the Ilovaisk tragedy of 2014.

As reported by Censor.NET, this comment was made by acting officer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, former press officer of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) Oleksii Dmytrashkovskyi (Oleksa Svitliishyi) regarding Muzhenko's interview for "Petr i Mazepa" website.

According to Dmytrashkovskyi, Muzhenko is avoiding answering to key questions. He stated the article was biased, for key questions to Muzhenko on the Ilovaisk tragedy were not even asked.

"1. Why haven't combat commanders who allowed arbitrariness been punished?

"2. How were those guilty of peoples' deaths punished?

"3. Where were the reserve forces which were supposed to cover the flanks?

"4. This assault was known of, why hadn't the decision been made in advance?

"5. What reports have you made to President Poroshenko regarding arbitrariness of the Interior Ministry leadership?

"6. Were the Interior Ministry representatives authorized to make strategic decisions?

"7. How could you allow general Khomchak be promoted, having known of his guilt?

"8. Why was it forbidden to inform truthfully about Ilovaisk and the Luhansk airport events?"

The officer stressed these statements were his personal opinion.

"This is my opinion! None of my present commanders has anything to do with these words! I am saying this so that you do not order my commander shut my mouth!!!," Dmytrashkovskyi wrote.
