 600 tons of banned products destroyed in Russia

As of Aug. 14, 550 tons of contraband plant food and 47 tons of contraband products of animal origin have been liquidated in Russia.

As reported by Censor.NET, this is announced in a statement by the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance. "To date, 50 tons of contraband plant food and 47 tons of contraband products of animal origin including 576 kilograms of products imported via hand luggage and baggage have been destroyed," the statement reads.

"150 tons of cheese of unknown origin with remarking signs, 65 tons of dairy products from Lithuania, Poland and Germany, 17 tons of pork of unknown origin and 37 tons of pork from the United States have been detained," the press office states.
