"The terrorists' subversive group planning to blow up a train carrying hardware of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was discovered on the threshold of the Independence Day. We detained the group, which, besides the 39-year-old organizer, included three local residents, one of whom worked in the Stste Border Guard Service of Ukraine. This subversive group gathered intelligence on our military, our major infrastructure facilities, places of deployment of Ukrainian detachments, movement of the equipment. They were set the task by the Russian authorities to commit a terrorist attack and railroad track was chosen as a target. In particular, they planned to put an explosive device under the rails in the Kharkiv region. The Alpha special designation unit detained the organizer of the group just after he planted a 2.5kg TNT equivalent explosive device," Hytlianska said.
