 Ukraine's economy slumped by almost 15 percent in Q22015 - State Statistics Service

According to latest data, the real gross domestic product shrunk by 14.7 percent in April-June 2015 compared to the same period in 2014 (in comparable prices of 2010).

This was reported by the State Statistics Service, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

Ukraine's GDP decreased by 0.9 percent (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol) compared to the Q12015 with seasonal effect adjustment.

The State Statistics Service has finalized the yearly indicators of the real gross domestic product. Thus, the real gross domestic product has decreased by 17.2 percent in January-March 2015 compared to the same period in 2014 (in comparable prices of 2010) to 367.577 billion hryvnia (about $15.982 billion) at current prices. The real GDP decreased by 6.8 percent in 2014 compared to 2013 (in comparable prices of 2010) to 1,566.728 billion hryvnia (about $68.119 billion) at current prices (excluding the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol).
