This was announced by the Deputy Prosecutor General - Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine Anatolii Matios, Censor.NET reports citing Interfax-Ukraine.
"We have the appointment. Kostiantyn H. Kulyk has become the Head of the Military Prosecutor's Office of ATO forces. He spent a year in eastern Ukraine as the Head of the Military Prosecutor's Office Department in the ATO area. He is a career military prosecutor," Matios said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday.
He recalls the Military Prosecutor's Office previously included three regional military prosecutor's offices - west, central and south with the ATO prosecutor's office having become the fourth one. The unified Military Prosecutor's Office of ATO forces will cover the territory of the Luhansk, Donetsk, Kharkiv and Zaporizhia regions.
According to Matios, this prosecutor's office will collect materials for an international court.
"All those arriving in Ukraine without permission and using weapons against the Ukrainian citizens will be brought to justice. The sentences over military crimes do not expire," he stressed.
Matios also believes that any international court will take and properly examine the evidence of military crimes systematically received at the moment due to political will and administrative decisions of the senior officials of Ukraine.
As reported before, Matios announced establishment of the unified Military Prosecutor's Office of ATO forces.
