 Cabinet issues decree on expanded sanctions against Russia

Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has issued a decree on expansion of proposals on application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures against Russia.

The corresponding decree No. 808-p has been published today on the official governmental website, Censor.NET reports.

"Due to the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, its promotion and funding of the terrorist activity in Ukraine, which led to violation of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, rights and freedoms of its citizens, temporary occupation of its territory, grave human casualties, significant property and financial losses, and poses real and potential threats to Ukraine's national interests, national security and sovereignty, in accordance with Part 1 of Article 5 of the law of Ukraine on sanctions and in addition to the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of Sep. 11, 2014, No. 829, proposals on application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures are herewith approved and introduced for consideration by the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine," the document reads.
