 Terrorists violated armistice 95 times using Grads inter alia, - ATO press-center

The terrorists violated cease-fire 95 times in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area yesterday.

Censor.NET informs citing the situation report by the ATO press center.

"The illegal armed groups kept shelling the positions of the Ukrainian troops in the ATO area from 6 p.m. to midnight yesterday. The fiercest attacks have traditionally been committed in the Donetsk vicinity. The invaders used 120-mm mortars thrice and 152-mm artillery twice on our positions in Avdiivka from 10 p.m. to midnight. The terrorists also shelled Verkhniotoretske thrice at about 8 p.m. and committed strikes from 152-mm artillery on Vodiane at about 10 p.m.," the statement reads.

It was also reported that the militants used BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers against the ATO forces' positions in Troitske village at the Artemivsk direction at 10:15 p.m.

"The criminals were shelling Stanytsia Luhanska in the Luhansk region from 120-mm mortars and grenade launchers from 10 p.m. Aug. 10 to 2 a.m. Aug. 11. The enemy impacted the village of Starohnativka near Mariupol from 120-mm mortars and 152-mm artillery at about 9 p.m.," the HQ reported.

The ATO press center noted that the enemy violated the cease-fire 95 times totally yesterday. The militants used cannon artillery 25 times, mortars - 24 times, multiple launch rocket systems - three times, grenade launchers and small arms - 48 times.

The enemy kept assaulting positions near the villages of Vodiane, Opytne, and Avdiivka after midnight.

"The Russian-terrorist forces employed Grads against our positions in the village of Bohdanivka near Mariupol at 1:05 a.m., twice at 3 a.m., and at 3:50 a.m.," the HQ added.
