 Luhansk governor Tuka advocates postponement of local elections in Donetsk and Luhansk regions till 2017

Local elections in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions shall be postponed to 2017.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrainski Novyny, this was announced by Head of the Luhansk military civil administration Heorhii Tuka on air of ICTV channel.

"Yes, I do support this initiative," Tuka said commenting on proposal of Head of the Donetsk military and civil administration Pavlo Zhebrivskuyi to postpone local elections till 2017.

Moreover, Tuka is not certain that it will be possible to hold them even in 2017.

He noted that local elections shall be only held in the Donbas after all guilty separatists are convicted.
