 Four Ukrainian soldiers killed in Novolaspa engagement, six wounded, - "Right Sector"

Anti-terrorist operation (ATO) forces and pro-Russian militants have engaged in furious fighting near Novolaspa, the Donetsk region, which resulted in killing of four Ukrainian soldiers.

This was announced by journalist and Right Sector representative Olena Bilozerska on her Facebook page, Censor.NET reports.

"The engagement near Bila Kamianka of Volnovakha district, not far from Novolaspa, is over. At night, the enemy breached the positions of the 72nd brigade, after which Ukrainian military assisted by fighters of the Right Sector volunteer battalion managed to fling back the enemy to its previous positions and advance a bit. However, they could not consolidate because the enemy was reinforced with large amount of armored equipment. Their artillery was very active as well," she said.

"Our losses are four soldiers killed, one of them being from the 72nd brigade and three more from the Right Sector. Six more RS activists were wounded, according to preliminary information. The number of wounded Army soldiers is being specified. All those injured have been taken to hospitals. The enemy also incurred significant losses, the numbers are being specified," Bilozerska added.
