The report reads: "The illegal armed groups continue focusing night attacks at the Donetsk direction using banned weapons.
"The invaders were shelling our positions in Opytne and Vodiane villages from 120-millimeter mortars from midnight to 6 a.m. The mercenaries also committed strikes on Avdiivka, Pervomaisk, and Opytne from 122-mm artillery. The enemy tank shelled the ATO troops' strong point in Pisky village at 12:30 a.m.
"In addition, the mercenaries deliberately shelled peaceful neighborhoods of Avdiivka from 122-millimeter artillery at about 3 a.m."
"The criminals were shelling the village of Shchastia in the Luhansk region from the tank for nearly an hour starting from 7 a.m. The enemy employed 120-mm mortars, tanks and infantry fighting vehicles to commit an attack on the Ukrainian forces' position in the village of Zaitseve at the Artemivsk direction between 2 to 3 p.m.
"At the same time, the officers of the civil-military cooperation of the armed forces are carrying out daily work to eliminate the consequences of the armed conflict despite the attempts of the enemy to destroy the infrastructure of the Donbas. The process of recovery of power supply in the town of Marinka was launched and over 10 kilometers of electric lines have been already repaired. The laying of 600 meters of water pipes to the new neighborhoods of this town is now coming to completion due to the efforts of the military."
"The officers of the civil-military cooperation together with the representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross have also organized the delivery of construction materials (2 thousand sheets of slate, 45 cubic meters of wood) to the village of Luhanske in the Donetsk region. The local hospital, school, and kindergarten that have been damaged by the militants' shelling will be restored in the near future with this support," the ATO press center summed up.
