 Drunk driver bumped into crowd of six people in Marhanets, four of them children, - Traffic Police

A bloody road accident occurred in the village of Horodyshche near Marhanets (Dnipropetrovsk region). A drunk driver, moving at high speed, knocked down six pedestrians, four of them being children aged three to six years.

This is reported by the press service of the Internal Ministry Traffic Police Department, Censor.NET reports.

"A terrible traffic accident happened yesterday, Aug. 6, at 6 p.m. in the village of Horodyshche near Marhanets. According to preliminary information, the driver of an Audi 100 failed to choose safe speed, lost control and drove into oncoming lane hitting two adults and four children," the authority informed.

According to medical report, the driver was intoxicated.

As a result, a 32-year-old man, a 30-year-old woman and four children aged three to six years were taken to hospital.

Investigation is underway.
