Troitske shelled with Grad rocket systems, as clash occurred near Krasnohorivka, - АТО press center

The situation in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) area considerably aggravated over past night.

This is reported by Censor.NET citing the ATO press center.

"From 6 p.m. until midnight Russian-terrorist forces shelled the Ukrainian army positions in villages near Donetsk almost nonstop. At about 8 p.m. mercenaries committed two attacks at Avdiivka from 122-mm artillery. From 10 p.m. the enemy fired tanks four times at the ATO forces positions in Opytne and three times in Avdiivka. From 6 p.m. to midnight the enemy fired seven times at our strong holds in the village of Pisky from 120-mm mortars, and around 11 p.m. used 122-mm artillery to shell the same area.

"From 7:25 p.m. to nearly 9 p.m. our troops clashed with the enemy near Krasnohorivka. A group of militants of about 20 people supported by 120-mm mortars and small arms tried to get through our strong point. As a result, the terrorists retreated.
