 926 people missing in anti-terrorist operation, 204 of them kidnapped by terrorists, - Interior Ministry

Police are searching for 926 residents of the Donetsk region who disappeared during the anti-terrorist operation (ATO).

As reported by Censor.NET citing UNIAN, this was announced by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Main Directorate in the Donetsk region press service.

As reported, from the beginning of the ATO in the Donetsk region, 1,381 people hit the missing in action list, with location of 455 of them being known. The search for the remaining 926 residents of the region is underway.

As of today, the Ministry of Internal Affairs Main Directorate in the Donetsk region has registered 564 missing and 362 abducted (data from the start of the ATO).

It is established that 204 people have been kidnapped by the "DPR" militants. The circumstances of disappearance of another 158 people are being set.

Criminal proceedings under Article 146 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal deprivation of liberty or kidnapping) have been initiated.
