It is indicated that Bohatyriova and Ihnatov are summoned to Prosecutor General's Office Aug. 5 at 9:30 a.m. in order to conduct investigation and legal proceedings in the criminal case.

The Prosecutor General's Office stressed that the publication of summons on the website is a prerequisite for the launch of the special conviction of suspects (in absentia).

The process of conviction in absentia will begin if the accused persons fail to come for interrogation.

As previously reported, the Pechersk district court of Kyiv sanctioned the Prosecutor General's Office to file proceedings in absentia against Ihnatov suspected of embezzlement of 220 million hryvnia (about $29 million at that time) July 24.
