"We are keeping a wary eye on the events in Ukraine. Unfortunately, all we see is a negative trend. Much work to refurbish the border has been done over the past two years. It concerns demarcation, strengthening the military, and daily equipping the parts of the state border," Zas said.

"We took account of the events on the territory of Ukraine - the proliferation of weapons and ammunition, including in the areas and regions bordering our country. Of course, in this situation we have to pay particular attention to the security of our southern borders," he added.
