 387 paratroopers killed in ATO, – Poroshenko

387 paratroopers were killed during combat missions in the ATO area in the East of Ukraine.

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko announced during his visit to the Donetsk region, Censor.NET informs citing the president on Тwitter.

"387 'winged infantrymen' have not returned from combat missions during the anti-terrorist operation. Eternal memory and honor!.. The deeds of the Paratroopers of the 95th, 80th, 81st, 25th, and 79th Brigades in the battles with the Russian troops are now history. Today our soldiers are writing their own history of Ukrainian highly mobile airborne troops, full of heroic victories and bitterness of losses," Poroshenko said in Sloviansk while congratulating paratroopers on the Airborne Troops Day.

He added that the August raid of the 95th Airmobile Brigade in the rear of the Russian-terrorist troops is considered the longest attack of the kind in the world military history.
