 Militants violated ceasefire over 40 times today, - HQ

From midnight until 6 p.m. on Friday militants violated the ceasefire more than 40 times. Armed provocations involving grenade launchers and small arms have significantly increased near Donetsk.

As reported by Censor.NET citing ATO HQ, from midnight terrorists delivered almost nonstop fire at Pisky, Opytne, Marinka. The most intense fire was recorded from 3 a.m. till 4 a.m. and from noon till 4 p.m. Militants went on using weapons, which must be removed from the demarcation line.

At around 1 a.m. militants fired 120-mm mortars at the Ukrainian army positions near Stanytsia Luhanska. From 4 a.m. till 5 a.m. militants used 152-mm artillery to fire in Lozove and Artemivsk directions. At 4:45 a.m. an enemy tank fired at the Ukrainian military positions near Verhniotoretske. At 5.25 a.m. near Opytne militants used IFV weaponry.

Moreover, at 8.15 a.m. near the village of Zolote an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group tried to infiltrate the Ukrainian territory, but was discovered by ATO troops. As a result of a shootout the enemy retreated. The enemy continues shelling peaceful settlements. At 2:50 a.m. Russian-terrorist forces fired 122-mm artillery at Toshkivka in the Luhansk region.
