Grybauskaite says Russia has something to conceal

Russia's veto of the resolution on establishment of an international tribunal over MH17 plane crash suggests the country has something to conceal.

This was stated by the President of Lithuania Dalia Grybauskaite, Censor.NET reports citing Delfi.

"I think this is a very clear signal that Russia is trying to evade investigation, and it proves the country has something to conceal," Grybauskaite said.

As reported earlier, on Wednesday the UN Security Council voted the draft resolution by Malaysia to establish an international tribunal to investigate the Boeing MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine. 11 out of 15 member states supported the resolution. Angola, China and Venezuela abstained. However, Russia blocked the adoption of the document using its veto as a permanent member of the Security Council.
