He said that the U.S. would continue providing a variety of non-lethal systems including unmanned aerial vehicles and SUVs.
The ambassador reminded that the United States has launched a wide array of support in the field of security worth of $ 244 million as of then. It included night vision devices, secure communications systems, and SUVs. During meeting with the ATO generalship, Geoffrey Pyatt also mentioned that he was particularly glad to hear about successful employment of mortar detecting radars provided by the U.S.
At the same time, the ambassador believed that the most valuable support that the United States had provided to Ukraine was training of the Ukrainian military on the Yavoriv ground in the Lviv region.
Besides, the United States offered a large-scale program of economic assistance.
The diplomat made it clear that the U.S. strongly supported Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in their strive to overcome the Russian military aggression.
Pyatt was confident that the Ukrainian army had strengthened its capability to defend itself against the Russian troops and the Russian-backed separatists.
At the same time the ambassador stressed that there were no entries in the Minsk Agreements that had not been published.
