State Duma deputy says Russia could plead guilty and turn the page, but failed instead. VIDEO

Russian State Duma deputy Ilya Ponomarev considers the Kremlin's stance on the MH17 tragedy mistaken.

As reported by Censor.NET, in his opinion, Russia should plead guilty and pay out compensation to the victims' families. Such actions would be more sound in the face of the world community. Ponomarev gave an example of similar situation, where the US military shot down a passenger plane over the Persian Gulf.

Complete denial of Russia's involvement in the tragedy, as well as vetoing the UN Security Council resolution to establish an international tribunal was but briefly commented by the deputy: "Guilty mind is never at ease."
