 SBU bans French deputies who visited occupied Crimea from Ukraine

The Security Service of Ukraine has forbidden 10 deputies of the National Assembly and the Council of France the country for three years.

Censor.NET reports citing the press center of the SBU.

According to the statement, the Ukrainian side believes that their trip to the Autonomous Republic of Crimea in July without consent of Ukrainian authorities and in violation of the order of entry in the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine is a destructive step.

"Such actions of the citizens of France are contrary to the national security and encroach upon sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. In particular, the prohibition concerns Thierry Mariani, Yves Pozzo di Borgo, Nicolas Dhuicq, Claude Goasguen, Jérôme Lambert, Yannick Moreau, Patrice Verchère, Marie-Christine Dalloz, Sauveur Gandolfi-Scheit, Jacques Myard," the statement reads.
