 Militants shelled Dzerzhynsk downtown at night, killing two civilians, - Interior Ministry

Last night at about 3 a.m. pro-Russian terrorists shelled the city of Dzerzhynsk downtown in the Donetsk region.

This was announced by the Interior Ministry in the Donetsk region press service, Censor.NET reports.

Two local residents were killed, men born in 1982 and 1956.

Due to the shelling, a gas pipeline was damaged and several districts of the city were left without electricity. Two mines were cut off current, leaving 200 miners underground. As of now, they have been evacuated.

Investigation team of the Dzerzhynsk city police is operating on site. Information on casualties and damages is being specified.
