 Russian government ordered terrorists to capture Ukrainian officers for further exchange, - SBU

Russian generalship ordered the militants of the "Donetsk People's Republic" and “Luhansk People's Republic" to capture Ukrainian officers for further exchange.

This was stated by head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak, Censor.NET informs citing Ukrainski Novyny.

He noted that this order was issued after the detention of Russian active officer Vladimir Starkov in the Donetsk region July 25.

"According to reliable information, the Russian command has instructed the leadership of the "DPR" and "LPR" terrorist organizations to move heaven and earth to capture the Ukrainian military in order to exchange them for a great price after the detention of the Russian Federation active officer," Hrytsak said.

The SBU chairman urged the Ukrainian military in the ATO area to be as vigilant as possible and avoid being taken captive.
