 Ukraine’s police and "DPR militia" to jointly patrol Shyrokyne, - General Staff

Officers of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry will patrol Shyrokyne together with the "DPR militia" to ensure protection of the OSCE observers.

Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Main Command Center, Major General Oleksandr Rozmaznin announced, Censor.NET reports.

"According to the agreement, the Ukrainian police units and the units of the so called "militia of the certain areas of the Donetsk region" will be working together there. We insist this territory to be controlled by the detachments of the Ukrainian police. They will be armed with handguns. They will not even have automatic weapons. They will ensure order there, protect the OSCE mission," Major General said.
