 100% of ballots processed in 205th constituency. Berezenko wins elections

The Central Election Committee has processed 100% of ballots at the 205th constituency special election to the Verkhovna Rada in Chernihiv.

Censor.NET reports citing the Central Election Committee.

According to the results released on the Committee's website, candidate from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc party, head of the State Management of Affairs Serhii Berezenko opened up the lead winning 35.9% of votes. Representative of the Privat Group, member of "Ukrop" party Hennadii Korban was the second with 14.76% of votes. Self-nominated candidate, member of the Samopomich party Volodymyr Zub won 8.18% of votes. Candidate from the Democratic Alliance party Ihor Andriichenko was supported by 7.97% of voters. The election turnout was 35.32%.

91 candidates took part in the elections including seven ones nominated from the political parties and 84 self-nominated ones. The single-member constituency №205 includes Desnianskyi and partially Novozavodskyi districts of Chernihiv. The elections were called in connection with the early termination of the powers of Valerii Kulich elected deputy in this constituency due to his appointment to the post of the Chairman of the Chernihiv Regional State Administration March 31.
