"The ATO forces' soldiers discovered sabotage and reconnaissance group of the enemy at 3 p.m. near the village of Kriakivka (Novoaidar district of the Luhansk region). The enemy retreated after a half-hour engagement.

"The Russian-terrorist forces used mainly small arms and mortars to assault positions of the ATO troops from 7 a.m. to 6.30 p.m. Such attacks were recorded near the villages of Kirove, Opytne, Shchastia, Krymske, and Maiorsk. The Russian invaders usually cease committing major strikes on the ATO troops and peaceful cities and villages at daytime. It is difficult for the OSCE SMM observers and JCCC representatives to immediately determine the directions where the positions of the ATO forces were attacked from by the militants at night after all. Besides, it is easier for the invaders to escape from the crime scenes under the screen of night," the ATO press center concluded.
