 Ukraine has settled $120-million Eurobond coupon payment, avoiding technical default, - UNIAN

The Ministry of Finance of Ukraine had paid $120 million of Eurobond coupon due in July 2017.

As reported by Censor.NET, an informed source in the government told UNIAN news agency.

"The payment has been made," the source said answering the question whether Ukraine had paid $120 million of Eurobond coupon due in July 2017.

The same information of the payment being settled had been confirmed by an informed market source to Interfax-Ukraine news agency. The source has not specified the amount of the payment.

As reported, Ukraine's Finance Minister Natalie Jaresko announced in late June that Ukraine could "in theory" announce a moratorium for payments of state debts in late July due to no progress in creditors talks.
