"We have no problems with demobilization, the decree will be fulfilled," - Poroshenko

The demobilization of the ATO servicemen stipulated by the corresponding decree will take place in August - September this year. All the rumors about its failure are a sheer provocation.

As reported by Censor.NET citing Ukrinform, this was announced by the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his working trip to Mykolaiv.

"We have no problems with the demobilization, which should take place in August and September, the decree will be effected. We are aware of the rumors spread among the military about its possible failure. But I want to stress it's a pure provocation and provocateurs have been already identified and handed over to law enforcement bodies," Poroshenko said.

He also noted that the number of contract military personnel had significantly increased recently.

Previously, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the majority of military personnel drafted in the third stage of partial mobilization will be demobilized in September due to extension of preparation of the newly mobilized, who will replace them.

According to the General Staff, as of July 18, 39,789 troops were dismissed from the Armed Forces of Ukraine. They were those drafted during the first and the second stages of mobilization.
