The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on the participants of the electoral process to refrain from violations of the law. This was discussed at a yesterday's meeting at the ministry, Censor.NET reports citing the Interior Ministry press service.
Since July 20, 2015 a special law enforcement group will be operating in Chernihiv. The objective is to prevent violations of public order and law during the elections of people's deputies in the 205th constituency in Chernihiv.
Law enforces will be patrolling the city in alert mode. Moreover, they will take 83 polling stations and candidates main offices under protection.
The group consists of the officers of the Department of Criminal Investigation and Public Security of the Internal Affairs Ministry, as well as some 300 servicemen of the National Guard and Chernihiv and Kirovohrad special forces patrol police battalions. The group will be leaded by the adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs, member of the Board of the Interior Ministry Ivan Stoiko.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges all participants of the electoral process to comply with the legislation. According to the legislation in force, bribery of voters is an offense and such facts will be severely suppressed, regardless of party affiliation.
As reported before, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that the order and law in the elections at the 205th constituency will be secured by a special law enforcement group.
