 Militants shelled a car in Kurakhove: three civilians wounded, – Interior Ministry

Three civilians received shrapnel wounds of varying severity as a result of shelling of their car by the militants in the Donetsk region on Monday.

Censor.NET reports citing the statement by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Donetsk region.

The terrorist's shelling injured three people. A girl born in 1995 and two men born in 1967 and 1989 have been taken to the hospital in Kurakhove with shrapnel wounds of varying severity.

The car with two residents of Kurakhove and a woman from Donetsk, who moved to Kurakhove from the occupied territory, was shelled on the Donetsk-Zaporizhia highway July 20 at about 11.30 a.m. The citizens passed the last DPR checkpoint. The militants have let the car through and opened fire after on the Government controlled territory. The car came under fire approaching the checkpoint of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The injured civilians were taken to the hospital.

The criminal proceedings preliminary qualified under Part 2 of the Article 15 and Part 2 of the Article 115 "attempt to commit premeditated murder" have been opened.
